Charlotte Driving Academy’s adult driver education course provides comprehensive training tailored for adult learners to gain or improve driving skills. With experienced instructors and personalized lessons, it emphasizes safety and confidence. Adult Enrollment Requirements
- 18 Years or Older
- Possess a Valid Learner Permit*
* Learner Permits are obtained through the North Carolina DMV. A Learner Permit must be obtained before the first driving lesson, and must be valid for each behind-the-wheel lesson.
Can I Use an Out-of-State Permit or License?
All adult driving students must possess a North Carolina Learner Permit or Driver License to enroll in any training program. All permits and licenses must be valid throughout the entire training period.
Can CDA Provide My Driving Test?
All written and driving tests are conducted by the North Carolina DMV. To schedule an appointment, please visit the NCDMV website here .
How Does Scheduling Work?
Once you enroll, a training representative will reach out to schedule your driving lessons. Adult behind-the-wheel training is available daily, with flexible times between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM. You can also manage your lessons through our online student portal.
