How many hours do I have to drive?

All  teen driver courses are designed to meet North Carolina’s minimum requirements for driver education.  The minimum required behind-the-wheel time is 6 hours.

When does the driving portion start?

It’s important to know the rules of the road before getting behind the wheel.  All behind-the-wheel training is conducted shortly after finishing classroom training.

How long is each driving session?

The state of North Carolina requires all behind-the-wheel training to be limited to 2 hours or less.  Shorter drive times are available and can be scheduled online.
